I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionMARKET ACCESS MANAGER:The Market Access Manager is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, conducting market research, and implementing pricing and reimbursement strategies to support Takeda's mission.How you will contribute:Develop and align within different team's market access strategyConduct advanced market research and lead complex studiesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure the drug's/device's value proposition is recognizedPerform advanced economic analysis and make improvement recommendationsLead project teams, providing guidance and mentorship in market access strategiesNegotiate contracts and represent the organization in project matters with senior external personnelDesign and implement institutional projects aligned with organizational goalsAct as the Market Access department's representative within the Business Units, ensuring strategic alignment and integration of key initiativesMain Responsibilities:Applies advanced market research techniques, capable of leading complex studies and advising others on market insights.Develops and executes market strategies, capable of handling highly complex scenarios and coaching others.Communicates effectively with stakeholders, ensuring the drug's/device's value proposition is recognized and acted upon.Performs advanced economic analysis, applies principles in highly complex situations, advises others, and makes improvement recommendations.Leads project teams, providing guidance and mentorship in market access strategies.Negotiates contracts and represents the organization in project matters with senior external personnel.Designs and implements pricing strategies in collaboration with Health Economics/Outcomes Research.Mentors team members, enhancing their skills in market access and strategic planning.Analyzes competitive intelligence, capable of advising based on insights and handling complex analysis.Leads commercialization efforts, advising others and anticipating market requirements for novel products.Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.Experience:Minimum of 5 years in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or related fields within the pharmaceutical industry.Skills:Strong analytical and economic evaluation skills, capable of conducting advanced research and analysis.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and negotiate contracts.Proven experience in developing and executing complex market access and pricing strategies.Leadership skills to lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.Ability to work cross-functionally and represent the Market Access department within Business Units.Strong understanding of national and international healthcare systems and reimbursement mechanisms.Ability to design and implement projects aligned with business objectives and market needs.Technical Knowledge:Proficiency in market access tools and economic modeling software.Familiarity with regulatory requirements, health technology assessments, and reimbursement processes.LocationsMadrid, SpainWorker TypeEmployeeWorker Sub-TypeRegularTime TypeFull time
