Our hybrid work environment provides a balance of in-office and remote work.OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Data Engineer with strong expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and experiences in Data Platforms and Data Mesh paradigm. The Data Engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build high-quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from the organization's connected data, enabling the organization to advance the data-driven decision-making capabilities of the enterprise.This role requires an agile learner, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a technical, cross-functional analytics team to solve complex data problems and deliver insights to enable analytics strategy.Essential FunctionsSolve complex data problems to deliver insights that help the organization's business achieve their goals.Build a Data Platform to help product teams, data analysts, and data scientists solve complex data problems and deliver insights and value more efficiently.Architect and implement a Lake House architecture in the Data Platform that enables data democratization for structured and unstructured data.Create data products for analytics and data science team members to improve their productivity.Mentor and coach other data and analytic professionals on data standards and practices.Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions.Lead the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and processes for analytic data engineering to improve the organization's productivity.Develop and deliver communication and education plans on analytic data engineering capabilities, standards, and processes.Partner with business analysts and solutions architects to develop technical architectures for strategic enterprise projects and initiatives
