Main external contacts include government agencies, security consultants, peers at other companies in the industries.JOB PURPOSESupport the implementation of Global security and Crisis Management strategy, programs, standards, initiatives and provide guidance and know-how and respond to security threats to all SABIC operations within assigned geography.Act as Subject matter expert with demonstrated competency in the planning, development, program execution, maintenance and testing of Global Crisis Management standards and programs.Provide support to leadership and assigned geography/region to properly and accurately capture/articulate the business risks and design crisis response strategies that mitigate those risks. Conduct Awareness, advice, and assist business units, sites and leadership on Crisis Management Process and programs. Provide subject matter expertise during response to regional and global crisis events and coordinate engagement with global EHSS leadership.Ensure timely and strong communication processes with governmental agencies to support overall security preparedness within assigned geography.Ensure compliance with regional and local security regulations, Sabic EHSS Standards by auditing of crisis management and Security systems across SABIC entities to identify opportunities for improvement, supporting the sites to create the mitigation plan.RESPONSIBILITIESContribute to the development and implementation of security policies, strategies and standards in coordination with Leader of the Security COE.Keep abreast of security industry standards, incoming security-related correspondence and monitor national and international events in order to assess their security-related trends and implications on SABIC business operations and staff within the region.Assist regional and sites leaders and SMEs in performing security risk assessments based on applicable standards and regulations to help determine appropriate levels of protection and security necessary measures for sites.Direct site security and advise site leaders in implementing Security policies, regulations, standards and systems.Support and endorse the regional security initiatives and projects
