).Assessing the feasibility for students to enter their desired finance sector and building a strategy accordingly, considering several plans (e.G., Plan A, B, C, etc.
).Supporting students in individual advising sessions and in groups in the classroom.Guiding students in our Career Advising methodology: creating their career target materials (list of target companies and contacts), gathering real-time market information (networking with active professionals and leveraging the IE ecosystem and alumni).Helping students create an actionable and measurable job search strategy, agreeing on timelines, milestones, and progress.Advising/supporting students to build their personal brand in their application packages (CV, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and interactions).Coaching students for interviews, providing guidance on research about the company/role and conducting practice sessions (mock interviews) at different times in their journey.Contributing to defining Career Advising methodology and student journey: creation of materials, self-assessment exercises, and market benchmarks.Maintaining a deep understanding of pathways or academic concentrations and sub-pathways (to be acquired in collaboration/coordination with Pathways Directors) to align or complement students' career targets.Through own efforts and collaboration with the Employer Partnership team, maintaining knowledge of recruitment practices, industry trends, recruitment and networking events, interview requirements, and unique employer information.Coordinating with Academic Programs and other key stakeholders in the Business School ecosystem, faculty research, alumni base, student clubs, and student needs to remain vital and credible for advising purposes.Reporting to the Head/Program Head with coordination lines to the Advising/Education Director.Qualifications:To thrive in this role, you should have:A Master's Degree (highly valued).Previous experience in finance (strong plus).Required experience as a coach, career advisor, head-hunter, or recruiter.
Additional experience in facilitating, teaching, learning, and development is ideal.Strong coaching skills, ideally with specific training.Job market knowledge: jobs in demand, future of work, international job market.Interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.Ability to match transferable skills with opportunities (connecting the dots).Knowledge of different assessments that can help students clarify their career goals (e.G., Careerleader, Strengthfinder).Experience in dealing with candidates and recruitment processes.Experience preparing application packages: CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, interviews.Familiarity/affinity with the higher education sector (ideal).Bilingual/native level of English and Spanish (required).Excellent empathy and creativity to suggest different ideas to students.Team player with a positive customer-oriented attitude.Multi-tasking ability and the capacity to work with urgency under tight deadlines.Ability to hit the ground running.Additional languages (plus).Occasional business trips in Spain and/or overseas may be required.It's time to bring your best and make your mark.
