As an Android Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Android developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. You will play a key role in driving the technical direction of our Android projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced leaders who are passionate about technology, mentorship, and driving innovation. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Android developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects Define technical architecture, design patterns, and development standards for Android applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives Drive the development lifecycle, from planning and estimation to implementation, testing, and deployment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency across projects Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in Android development and advocate for their adoption as appropriate Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development team Mentor and coach team members, providing support, guidance, and opportunities for growth and development Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 6 years of professional experience in Android application development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role Expertise in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages Strong understanding of Android application development frameworks, architecture patterns, and best practices Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and related tools Proven track record of leading successful software development projects, from concept to delivery Experience with agile software development methodologies Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development Qualities: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals Professional development opportunities, including training, conferences, and workshops Supportive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and career growth Flexible work hours and the option for remote work arrangements Location: Onsite, Remote, Hybrid
