Eton Bridge Partners are working in partnership with a well-respected, international FMCG organisation to appoint a Finance Director. The Finance Director plays a critical role in defining and driving the financial strategy of the Business Unit, supporting growth and business initiatives, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. The FD also plays an important role in prioritizing and ensuring the strategy for the Business Unit can be funded. As a part of that, the FD plays a key role in M&A and integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute the finance strategy for the Business Unit consistent with the global business strategy of the organisation. Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Ensure timely and accurate availability of financial plans, reports and budgets for management. Control the BU budget, proposing corrective actions when necessary, and ensuring adequate reporting for the BU to deliver its budget and meet KPI objectives. Proactively advise management in decisions with substantial financial consequences such as M&A, investment and divestment projects Candidate Profile:
A strategic growth-oriented Finance Director with at least 10 years of relevant financial management experience in comparable positions in an international environment. Strong financial and accounting background, academic degree complemented by solid in-company training, business economist MBA and/or chartered accountant. In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices. Excellent in managing stakeholder relationships, including peers, board, corporate departments, and auditors. Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English and Spanish. Experience with acquisitions and working in B2B environment is an advantage.
