Mission
As a booster reusability engineer you will be responsible for achieving rapid reusability while ensuring vehicle reliability.
Responsibilities

Lead operations in the field to safe and process the booster.
Develop procedures, test plans, and concept of operations for booster processing.
Support booster recovery operations which includes contracting vendors, creating cost estimates, developing and authoring field procedures, managing a team, executing offshore and onshore operations, and leading recovery operations in the field.
Drive more efficient operations to improve booster recovery cost and hardware health for improved refurbishment timelines.
Support refurbishment operations, process development, qualification or testing of flight proven boosters and payload fairing vehicles, through technical guidance, procedure writing, and hands-on support.
Support responsible engineers with reuse qualification or prototype efforts through planning or test execution.
Design, build, and test new ground support equipment in support of improving recovery operations.
Ensure systems are in place to guarantee hardware readiness – including, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, critical spares, and hardware testing.
Remain synchronized with all Recovery Operations to ensure commonality in both hardware and operations where applicable.

Necessary Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering.
1+ years of experience.
Experience managing engineering projects across multiple departments.
Hands-on hardware experience performing fabrication, assembly or testing.
Knowledge in space launchers.
Knowledge of recovery systems.
Knowledge in integration.
