As an Import Coordinator you will assist in the coordination of import logistics operations from non-EU countries to EU countries, managing the flow of products, services and information, and liaising with external partners and internal teams such as group subsidiaries, purchasing and quality departments to ensure that products are delivered on time and in good condition.
Your role highlights - your responsibilities You will communicate with product managers to request information prior to the campaign, such as volumes, incoterms, ports or airports of arrival, purchase regimes, etc.
You will prepare logistics instructions and send to suppliers.
Planning arrivals by creating shipments in the system and keeping the status updated during transit.
You will collect, review, or claim documents and changes to suppliers and attaching in the system.
You will carry out continuous monitoring of the goods in transit and provide all relevant information to internal departments, customs agents, and warehouses.
You will manage import customs clearance processes with customs agents You will coordinate the arrival plan and availability with customs agents and warehouses and inform other involved departments about the changes and availability dates.
You will manage claims and provide required documentation to insurance company or internal departments.
You will support the Export operations team when it`s necessary You will participate in the import-export team's weekend and public holiday shifts.
