The Digital Hub Madrid is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.In your role as Supply Chain Planning DevOps Engineer, you will develop and support (DevOps) our supply chain planning system for New Planning Landscape with:Start a training path to fully embrace BASF's existing and new planning technology like APO, IBP and OMP.Rollout of our new Supply Chain Planning System, Process and Solution to various business units in region/global, working with diverse stakeholders in supply chain and commercial teams.Work in an agile way within a virtual global team, learning by doing / shadowing colleagues and managing the system development/configuration/on-going support.Work on user stories, Change requests, actively pull and take over tasks and work self-organized in our squads.RESPONSIBILITIESAct as a Global / Regional expert of our BASF digital supply chain team, supporting BASF digital ambitions, helping our global digital service team to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way.Collaborate with colleagues in a self-organized way and in an agile team, quickly gain knowledge on specific BASF supply chain planning processes.Deep-dive into the supply chain planning environment and focus on Sales Operational planning and Supply (Network) Planning.Make best use of our BASF supply chain planning tools (like APO, IBP, GIB or OMP).Go through the comprehensive OMP training cycle and skill up with OMP knowledge in both functionalities and DevOps areas.Be part of supply chain planning system squads to work on functional development, supply chain planning solutions design, system configuration as well as on-going support after roll out in BUs/ODs.Shape the future of BASF supply chain planning landscape by creating solution designs and interact with business units on their specific requests.Proactively work in sprints, taking care of user stories.Your daily routine will start with an agile stand-up meeting and you will work on functional designs and developments, technical setups and configurations, functional testing and documentation, debugging, user acceptance testing, post go-live ongoing support as well as training key users in various business units and countries, take care of master data setup etc.Focus on the needs of our internal customers and provide sustainable and reliable post-go-live services.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor or higher degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain with good understanding of system background (SAP APO, IBP, OMP or others).Excellent communication skills in English with customers/Internal business partners.Supply chain system functional design, configuration and debugging experience.C++, Java, Python, GIT, SQL.Solid DevOps knowledge of supply chain planning related solutions.Process knowledge of supply chain planning at least in one of the following areas: Demand Planning, SOP, Supply Planning, Detailed Planning Scheduling.Knowledge of MS Azure DevOps.Strong collaboration skills with diverse team members.Experience in agile way of working or agile implementation approach.Openness to new trends and innovative solutions.Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe.NICE TO HAVEProcess knowledge of supply chain planning at least in one of the following areas: Demand Planning, SOP, Supply Planning, Detailed Planning Scheduling.Familiarity with diverse technologies - e.g.
