PHARMA SOURCING MANAGER CMO'S
BARCELONA
Important pharmaceutical company is looking for a Pharma Sourcing Manager CMO'S , responsible for leading the Global Pharma Strategic Sourcing category of Bulk and FDFs. Key responsibilities include searching and selecting alternative CMOs, leading the tendering process, following up the market situation, and negotiating prices and conditions of commercial products.
Roles
Responsible for market screening and CMO selection, leading the tendering process for the introduction of any new formulator CMO.
Leading negotiations of unit prices and conditions with CMOs producing pharmaceutical products (for all countries), Bulks and FDF.
In charge of contract negotiation and coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders until signature, managing the contract lifecycle afterwards.
Managing the life cycle of Supply Agreements.
Building and maintaining strong business relationships with suppliers of bulk and FDF.
Working closely with Finance Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) for updating and tracking COGs of products and informing Commercial teams of price changes.
Monitoring the global market for different raw materials to anticipate potential price increases and identify price improvements.
Collaborating with various teams on annual budget preparation and the 5-year strategic plan.
Participating in global Cross Functional meetings to align priorities.
Attending fairs related to the Pharmaceutical Business (CPhI, etc.) and conducting commercial visits to current/new CMO facilities (willing to travel 30-40% around Europe).
Proactively seeking new ways to reduce COGs using various procurement tools/levers.
Promoting Quality and Procurement guidelines (GMPs, Procurement SOPs, etc.), ensuring compliance with EHS, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or superior training) in Life Sciences.
English (as per CEFR): C1/C2.
Experience with GMPs and Regulatory Affairs environments.
5-7 years of experience in Procurement and/or Commercial positions negotiating FDF and bulk.
5-7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in an international environment.
Experience working in a matrix organization.
