The role of a Cook plays a key part in the preparation and presentation of dishes. Their main function is to prepare and handle various foods for meal service, ensuring strict compliance with safety and hygiene standards in the establishment.

Responsibilities: Ensure the efficient preparation of food in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Execute dish preparation following recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
Consistently and aesthetically handle the cooking and presentation of dishes.
Elaborate, prepare, and present food using appropriate techniques, meeting economic objectives and upholding food safety standards.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness in the work area, including machinery, tools, and utensils.
Efficiently prepare raw materials for service.
Receive, control, verify, and store raw materials according to established regulations.
Provide guidance and supervision to Kitchen Assistants.
Actively participate in quality control to ensure excellence in dish preparation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Adapt to changing kitchen needs and willingly take on additional responsibilities as necessary.

Minimum Requirements: Demonstrable experience in kitchen roles of at least 2 years, preferably in hotels of the same category or higher.
Solid knowledge of culinary techniques and presentation standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Collaborative attitude and effective communication skills.
Precision and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team.
Must have a food handler's permit.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
