Respond to requests from KOLs and oversee the management of strategic scientific partnerships and exchanges.Provide scientific liaison support to Investigators currently engaged in Sobi's company-sponsored interventional or observational studies, as well as investigator-initiated studies.Act as a liaison between healthcare professionals (HCPs) within the designated territory and Sobi's medical affairs, ensuring a balanced and effective communication channel.Contribute to KOL cross-functional engagement planning and diligently maintain KOL plans, ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant update of the medical customer relationship management system.Data GenerationAssist in regional data generation initiatives initiated by local or regional HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).Offer field-based medical support for Sobi's clinical research programs, registries, and facilitate the processes related to investigator-initiated research and medical grants.Data DisseminationContribute to the effective and compliant dissemination of data in accordance with the Hematology country medical affairs plan.Ensure that scientific exchange with HCPs adheres to fair and balanced principles, avoiding any misleading medical and scientific communications.Deliver clinical sessions and presentations on disease state, drugs, clinical studies and other scientific topics to diverse audiences, including KOLs, HCPs, and hospital/decision-making teams, as requested and in alignment with country medical plans.Provide support for data dissemination at congresses, following predetermined plans.If necessary, participate in responding to unsolicited inquiries from HCPs and other stakeholders within defined timelines and quality standards.
Additionally, ensure the forwarding of adverse event reports in accordance with Sobi's policy.Conduct medical training for colleagues from other departments upon request.Insights gatheringEffectively convey essential medical insights obtained from KOLs/HCPs to contribute to the refinement of Hematology medical strategies and tactics.Offer scientific input and actively participate in local medical and cross-functional initiatives.Take charge of organizing and leading advisory boards, working in coordination with the MSL Manager, to ensure effective collaboration and guidance from experts in the field.Medical educationStay well-informed about and have access to both internal and external information sources that can enhance the quality of scientific exchanges with HCPs.Continually develop and expand your knowledge of medical literature and refine your skills in critically appraising scientific publications.Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and scientific expertise encompassing all of Sobi's assigned disease areas and products.Effectively present crucial information related to the Hematology country medical affairs plan during internal meetings, such as cycles, conventions, and medical meetings.Support and execute medical training activities for other Sobi departments, in close coordination with the training champions and medical training teams.Perform external educational activities in coordination with regional or national KOLs and within scientific societies.Stay updated on MSL best practices to continually enhance your personal expertise.Develop and keep updated your knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations, the Code of Ethical Practices, and company policies.
Ensure adherence to standard operating processes for all medical activities.QualificationsQualifications and ExperienceDegree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) is a mandatory requirement.Proven history of effectively delivering oral presentations within the healthcare profession.Minimum of 2 years of experience in the rare diseases and Hematology field, in a role related to research, development, medical support, or scientific advisory.Minimum of 2 years of experience in MSL field position in the rare diseases and Hematology.Previous experience in a medical or Med-MKT department within the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.Demonstration of expertise in essential skills, capabilities, and competencies.Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
