Founded in 1971, Hastings School is a rapidly growing institution with a new 21st Century Sixth Form teaching block opened in September 2019 and a new Primary campus in September 2021.

The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to join our fantastic team. This is a Fixed Term Contract.

About the Role
To teach Mathematics in an effective manner to the range of abilities within our student body and to promote a genuinely positive approach to the subject. You will teach using a variety of delivery methods that stimulate learning, meeting the demands of the syllabus and the needs of the students. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice regarding punctuality, behavior, and standards of work.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you will be a university graduate and qualified with a UK approved PGCE or international equivalent. You should be able to teach up to GCSE Mathematics, but the ability to teach A level/IBDP HL would be an advantage. We expect a clear understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment techniques, along with a commitment to the safeguarding of young people and an up-to-date knowledge of child protection procedures.
