**Business Controller**

Madrid

SoftwareONE, a global leader in software portfolio management, is looking for an Project Manager to join an experienced Technology Services team that plays a key role in the success of our business.
- The Project Manager is the anchor within our Technology Services (TS) practice.
In this role you will participate in large services and projects related with Cloud platform and solutions of a complex nature managed by the TS department.
- You will drive quality by ensuring that standard service and project methodologies are followed in all cases.
The role:

- The business controller is a key role of our organization and has strong link and communication within the business to take clear and immediate decisions and actions.
- The position reports to Local CFO and it will be in charge of the consolidation of the financial information of the subsidiary:
You will be integrated in the Finance area, being responsible for the economic-financial control of the business unit, analyzing and reporting the information to the Management.
**The role**:

- We are looking for a 360 profile, analytical and finance expert person to be part of the Business Controlling team.
This person will play a key role providing analysis and insights to the whole organization.
- Collaboration in sales, services, personnel and cost controlling
- Support with the creation of the monthly reporting package including analysis and commenting of budget deviations
- Creation of deviation analyses including the development of countermeasures and decision-making bases
- Support of the business partners as well as the sales and service team
- Participation in the implementation of the operational corporate planning, the objectives of the sales teams as well as the creation and analysis of forecasts
- Support of the monthly preparation of the financial statements including active management of international cost allocation
- Analysis of company processes, as well as active participation in their design and revision
- Support and planning of the annual financial budget process
- Actively support the services business in project controlling through the PSA system
- Prepare and control the commission statements, both in terms of accruals and in relation to payment preparation

What we need to see from you:

- Completed business studies with a focus on controlling, finance and accounting or a comparable degree
- At least 3-4 years of professional experience in controlling - preferably in a company with a strong sales and/or services focus
- Very good knowledge in dealing with ERP systems (preferably Navision) and business intelligence as well as confident use of the MS Office package, especially Excel and Power Point
- Good analytical and judgment skills as well as an understanding of complex business processes
- Proactive, independent and structured way of working, a self-confident demeanor and enjoyment of working in an international team
- Fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
