.CFO - FMCG RETAIL MULTINATIONAL (in a growth era) About the Company We are working for a leading multinational FMCG company with a strong presence across 7 countries (and growing), with very innovative products and a dynamic market approach. As this group continues to grow and expand globally, we are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. (The office of this company is located in Madrid city) What will this company be expecting from you? As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced financial leader to drive strategic initiatives, professionalize the finance department, and support our global expansion. Therefore, your main responsibilities (but not the only ones, we will explain you way more in the interviewing process) will be: Strategic Leadership: Lead financial planning, analysis, and strategy to support business growth and international expansion. Team Development: Expand, mentor, and professionalize a team of around 15 finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Global Operations: Manage financial operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global financial standards. Process Improvement: Establish and enhance financial procedures and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy across the whole organization. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Retail Focus: Leverage experience in retail finance to optimize financial performance at points of sale. How will you know if you are a good fit? Well, you will need to be a very proactive person and be thrilled to change / improve things your way where you find it necessary. But, apart from that, there are some basic things that you need to have. We'll try to keep it simple, and the more you can add, the better: Experience: A minimum of 10 years in senior finance leadership roles, with significant experience in multinational environments. Experience managing finances for companies with retail operations will be highly considered. Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field. CPA or equivalent preferred. Big 4 Experience: Prior experience at a Big 4 auditing firm or similar prestigious organization will be highly valued. Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory. Additional language skills are a strong advantage due to this group's globalization efforts. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams in a fast-paced environment. Global Perspective: Experience working in or with Spanish companies operating internationally, with a deep understanding of diverse financial regulations and cultural nuances. Why Join this Group?
