We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy 4X title, creating a team of talented and passionate game makers to join us on this exciting journeyWhat You'll DoAs a member of the art team you will be working closely with the UI Lead to build and develop the visual language for the user interface.
You will also have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of experienced developers.Create outstanding UI assets and mockups conceived by your exceptional creativityWork with the UX Designer to visualize various interface systems in our gameProvide UI Animation and UI Interaction DesignBe a strong advocate for UI DesignProduce and deliver efficient and polished visual assets in the accurate format, and timeframeCollaborate with engineers and designers to find the best solution that meets the functional requirementsAuthor and maintain UI related documentationWhat We're Looking ForDemonstrate a history of shipping games and crafting spectacular UI for games as a UI artistExcellent eye for detail and qualityExtensive portfolio displaying diverse artistic skills with an exceptional understanding of graphic design and typographyExpert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and UnityKnowledge of prototyping software like Figma or Adobe XD is a plusExperience with After Effects for motion graphics and their relation to UIUnderstand core challenges of mobile UI from an artistic and technical perspectiveStrong visual design skills and understanding of usability design principlesAbility to communicate within a dynamic, cross-discipline, and iterative team environmentGrowth mindset and an eye towards continuous improvementSelf-motivated and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsPositive personality and an ability to receive and provide objective feedbackEffectively communicate in EnglishBonus PointsExperienced working with an IPGood understanding of User Experience in mobile video gamesImplementation of UI screens in a Unity-based game clientEnjoy Sci-fiA passion for gamesPlease include a portfolio or PDF/links to examples of your work in the application.At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that
