Scope of roleAs a Senior Software Engineer will ensure that OP5 Monitor meets the needs of the current customer base from a technical perspective. This will include understanding the product and ensuring any changes are consistent with the architecture.You will report to the Engineering Manager - Infrastructure Monitoring in our UK office, whilst managing a local team of engineers in our Makati office. The wider Engineering team is a global team with main hubs in Manila, Sweden, Spain, UK and North America.
The Makati office is growing and we are looking for Engineers that want to be part of a successful team building software products and working with the latest technologies.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:Lead a small cross functional team using Agile KanBan frameworkMaintenance of all backend components written in C, C++, Go and PythonOversight of the OP5 Monitor product architectureWork with the Product Owner to agree priorities of work in the backlogWork with our support team and customers to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and improve the productProvide support to other members of the teamRequirements 5 years experience with the majority of the following languages; C, C++, Go, Python and PHPExperience working with MySQLExperience working with GITExperience with RESTful Services and APIsAdvanced Linux especially RHEL, systemd and RPM packagingKnowledge of CI systems such as Buildbot and GoCDBusiness level oral and written EnglishInteraction with open source communities and contribution to open source projects(desirable)Comfortable in using several open source technologies and toolsExperience working in Agile environments (SCRUM, JIRA, KanBan)Experience of IT infrastructure monitoring or management(desirable)Knowledge of Nagios or NaemonHealth Insurance for you and your dependentsSupplemental Medical ClaimEmployee Assistance ProgrammeRetirement PlanFlexible Hybrid WorkingEnhanced Parental LeaveLife AssuranceSubsidies and AllowancesITRS Group is an Equal Opportunity employer and Inclusion is part of our everyday life.
