Our people are the backbone of our success, providing consistent quality and a transparent approach.The Technical Sales Manager is an expert in rotating equipment maintenance in Oil and Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical applications, life cycle, and market in selected countries.
Strong technical background of reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines applications, and other rotating equipment.
Possesses strong market view and customer knowledge for the assigned territory.
Knows customers' organization and has established relationships at all levels.He/she will lead and expand relationships with local customers and will drive order generation for Engineered Operation and Maintenance Solutions growth in the region.
He/she will support the global organization on strategic partnership and localization programs in targeted regions.RESPONSIBILITIESManage sales and Business Development activities on assigned territories for Blackstone's Regional Business and Compression Service Technology (CST) product line, with focus on broaden portfolio of product offering including field service, parts sales, repairs, and Engineered Solutions.Responsible for order generation of Blackstone & CST products & services with assigned order volume and margin targets.Responsible to create and maintain customer relationships in territory and drive market share penetration in the market.Coordinate with global commercial teams to develop proposals, quotations, and technical support solutions for customers locally.Support and lead contract negotiations, risk assessment, etc.Support project execution and customer interaction per contractual requirements.Support any future business development plan, organization, and infrastructure growth in the country.Customer entry point for technical support and engineered solutions provision.
Coordination with CST technical support and Solution portfolio management.Support data collection for equipment troubleshooting and Route Cause Analysis.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFD, & other engineering drawings/documents.Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs.Participate in company-based learning.Able to provide order intake updates and forecasts.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Engineering.10+ years' experience in the maintenance of reciprocating compressors and turbomachinery.Strong communication, self-starting/entrepreneurial attitude.Has established relationships with regional customers.Fluent in both English and Spanish a requirement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
