Product Owner

As the Product Owner at INBRAIN, you will be instrumental in bringing the company's product vision to life by undertaking three core responsibilities. Firstly, you will serve as the crucial link between our product vision and the development team, translating customer needs and market requirements into actionable development requirements, stories, and tasks.  Your prioritization of the product backlog will be paramount throughout the product development process, ensuring alignment with strategic  objectives .  Moreover, your dedication to ensuring the final product meets customer needs and market expectations is pivotal. This involves daily collaboration with the product  d evelopment team to document requirements, rigorous testing with beta customers, and continuous validation of product prototypes and new releases. Your role extends beyond development tasks to encompass effective liaison with cross-functional teams, ensuring escalations and defects are swiftly triaged, prioritized, and remediated. In collaboration with Program Managers, you will play a key role in orchestrating release coordination activities, driving value delivery, and contributing to INBRAIN's ongoing success.

Main responsibilities:  Product Development Strategic Direction: Develop a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with the long-term vision of the company. Lead the prioritization and sequencing of features and functionalities to be developed. Align with the product manager to respect and drive set expectations for the development team regarding timelines and deliverables. Continuously monitor and evaluate the progress of the product development against the established roadmap. User-Centric Approach: Gather user, patient, and customer needs through various channels such as surveys, interviews, and feedback sessions. Prioritize these needs based on their impact on the user experience and regulatory requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into actionable product requirements and features. Make sure this includes internal business needs from various departments such as Technology, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales. Own design outputs related design controls documents - product design validation, labelling and labels, Including plans, protocols and reports. Regularly solicit feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve the product throughout the development lifecycle. Work closely with Head of Marketing Develop and execute go-to-market plans alongside the, including pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies.  Validation and Compliance: Develop and execute validation plans to ensure that the product meets regulatory requirements and quality standards. Coordinate with regulatory affairs to stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure compliance throughout the development process. Conduct thorough risk assessments and mitigation strategies to address potential safety and performance issues. Document and maintain all validation activities and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the validation process. Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to facilitate the approval process. Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain regular communication channels with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and development teams. Provide timely updates on the progress of the product development, including any changes to the roadmap or prioritization. Act as a liaison between different stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and requirements. Proactively address any concerns or obstacles that may arise and work collaboratively to find solutions and keep the project on track. Stay atop of the competitive landscape and industry.  Post-Market Surveillance: Develop and implement a proactive post-market surveillance plan to monitor the safety and performance of the product after it has been launched. Collect and analyze data from various sources, including user feedback, complaints, and adverse events, to identify any issues or trends. Update product claims and labelling based on new information gathered through post-market surveillance activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any identified issues and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure ongoing product quality and compliance. Your profile 2 - 5 years working experience as a Product Owner or equivalent work experience Previous  experience in  a product  management or product owner role within the medical device industry. Experience in d evelopment tools such as Azure Dev Ops,  Aha,  Rally, Jira or equivalent In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and quality management systems. Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of human factors engineering and usability principles in medical device design. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent organizational and time management skills Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with risk management and clinical validation is highly valuable. Creative thinker with a vision Fluency in English required (English is the company language). Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Why us?
