The role will be a multi-functional role responsible for Aircraft Engine technical/commercial control and management. You will report to the Powerplant Manager under the responsibility of the CAMO.Main AccountabilitiesAircraft engine fleet management in all of its aspects and associated activities.Provide a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives relating to Engines, APUs and Nacelles.Manage implementation programs of modifications to Engines, APUs, Nacelles and accessory parts.Providing technical support to Line and Heavy Maintenance.Provide support to Reliability studies.Engine Heath Monitoring (EHM) control and oversight.Liaising with OEM's on a resolution of reliability and technical issues.Generation of operator documents (MEL Technical Notices, Procedure Notices, Engineering orders, reports etc.).Provide technical support to aircraft lease reception and returns.Work scoping and invoice review of Engine shop visits.Management of Engine Shop visit schedules, costs and MRO relationships. Represent the Powerplant department in meeting to support company's strategic decision making.Participate in continuous improvement and transformation projects as representative for the Powerplant department.Other duties as assigned. EducationEngineering Degree in Technical Field (may be replaced by 10 years working experience directly with Engines/Powerplant systems with an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer certification) ExperienceAt least 8 years of working experience in Airline/Powerplant Engineering department. CompetenciesTechnical and commercial knowledge of Engine fleet maintenance, repair and general management.A320/Airbus aircraft family experience requiredCFM and/or V2500 and/or PW11100 Engine experience requiredFamiliarity with EASA RegulationsFlexible approach with project delivery is a high priority.Must have excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Software Programs [Word, Excel]Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment and being a role model for others within the department.Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.Ability to support off-hour airline operational requirements LanguagesEnglish: C1LocationViladecansLevelIndividual Contributor 5Vueling is the first Top Employer airline in EuropeVuelingis the first European airline and the first low-cost airline in the world to obtain this certification, based on Vueling's results in the Top Employers Institute's HR Best Practices Survey, and covers six areas of human resources across 20 different topics.???? #FlyToYourFullPotentialEvery single person who works with us is unique.
