As their main purpose, they will provide technical support for projects in the host lab that use stem cell-based modelling to understand specific regulatory mechanisms underlying diabetes, as well as defined therapeutic strategies.About the labThe regulatory genomics and diabetes teams aim to define causes, mechanisms, and treatment for diabetes mellitus.
The successful applicant will join a team of lab members working on cell-based modelling of genetic mechanisms relevant to diabetes treatment.Whom would we like to hire?Must HaveYou have at least two years experience in mammalian cell culture and in the differentiation of human pluripotent cells to beta cells.A solid track record of working in a cell culture team.Education and trainingA BSc degree in biology or related disciplines is desirable.LanguagesYou are fluent in English.Technical skillsYou have skills in molecular biology techniques.CompetencesYou are good at working in a team but equally capable of working independently.Good communication skills.The Offer – Working ConditionsContract duration:technical and scientific activities contract estimated at 1 year.Estimated annual gross salary:Salary is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay scales.Target start date:November 2024.We provide a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructures and unique professional career development opportunities.
