Job OverviewWe are now recruiting for a secondary Science teacher for an immediate start, who can teach Science and Biology KS5. Our three excellent schools are co-educational and teach the British National Curriculum. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and recently qualified teachers. Applications from teaching couples are also warmly invited.
In order to work in our school, it is important that applicants have the right to work in Spain. Most commonly, applicants are already resident in Spain or have an EU passport, including Ireland. Applicants with a British passport are not automatically eligible to work in Spain. We ask that you have:
Enthusiasm and high expectations for all pupils;An excellent knowledge of the curriculum and an ability to focus children on their learning by delivering engaging lessons;A B.Ed., P.G.C.E or equivalent;English as a first language. (There is no requirement for our teachers to speak Spanish.)In return, we offer a successful and caring school with small classes of children who are positive, eager to learn, have excellent standards of behaviour, and supportive parents.
Essential RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS);Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4;Successful record of planning and delivering engaging learning activities;Knowledge of the British Curriculum.Salary27,000€ to 28,500€ per annum.
The school offers return flights annually and has a dedicated personnel support assistant to assist teachers in relocation and adapting to their life here in Spain.
