Why dont you join us? PlatsESP - MadridArbetsplatsHybridSista ansökningsdag2024-11-28Plats: ESP - MadridTo support our Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, the Customer Solution Center (CSC) team in Madrid, we are looking for you as an Application Engineer (m/f/d).new address: Parque Empresarial Via Norte, Calle Quintanavides 13 Edificio 2 Planta 1 mod F, 28050 MadridScope of your roleEngineering support for managed accounts in order to develop sealing solutions, considering technical and economic aspectsPoint of contact for the customer (design or R&D) for all technical questions with the aim of building a multilevel network with the customerClose contact and alignment with other Business Units (e.g., manufacturing sites, R&D, SCM..)Fully understand the customer's applications and explain the benefits of our sealing portfolio with their excellent technical skills and customized solutions (application-specific material compounds, quality-related requirements, etc.)Initiate RFQ, as well as manage technical complaints and material compliance.Provide market feedback to identify innovation trends in order to further improve our sealing portfolioPerform product and technical trainingsSupport preparation of and/or participate in customer visits and fairsSealing evaluation to provide suggestions for improvements to customers' applicationArticle data management and perform industrialization of design solutions (quality planning, item creation non-standard, etc.)Approve technical drawings, customer specifications and documentation, start the process for routing and storage in alignment with all involved partiesWhat defines youDegree in Engineering, Mechanical, Material Technology or equivalent qualifications Project Management skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsExperience/ knowledge in rubber, plastic, polymer industry or sealing technology is an advantage Customer-driven with a positive, professional, can-do attitudeStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of IT tools (Office, CRM, ERP, CAD, etc.)Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)Our benefits for youBe part of a market leader and work in a modern multicultural environment Several weeks of induction training with an extensive product training Flexible work model, oriented to business culture with social benefits#Start shaping industry from the inside#Trelleborg is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we take pride in the diversity of our employees, valuing the special experience and expertise that people from different backgrounds bring to our business.
