Frontend Lead

.Valsea Technologies is looking for a self-driven Frontend Lead. As Frontend Lead, you'll be responsible for the technical direction of the team, ensuring delivery. You'll actively participate in developing new features using the latest technologies, and maintaining our high standards for code quality and application performance. It is really important for us that you have a deep understanding of the iGaming space, including technology stacks, game APIs, etc. What We Do: Valsea Technologies is a global technical consultancy specialised in Scala and JavaScript development. Currently, our Javascript team is working on an in-house built system that manages more than 15 online gambling sites. Our main application is built with ViteJS, Cloudflare Pages and our own GraphQL layer. Through our ongoing efforts in research and development, we are continuously enhancing our toolset to stay at the forefront of technology and deliver cutting-edge solutions for managing content, data, and performance at scale. What you'll do: Work alongside other departments and units within IT such as product owners, design team, testing experts, DevOps, etc to achieve company goals. Set team priorities and achieve company goals working alongside other teams & areas. Review assignments continuously to ascertain compliance with standards and quality. Contribute to post-implementation reviews helping to demonstrate success or otherwise of projects. Write and present regular reports to key stakeholders. Carry out administrative functions such as staffing, recruitment, absence control, and on calls. Monitor and coach team members providing advice and guidance. Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with all members of the team to evaluate objectives and improve performance. What you'll bring: Minimum 5 years experience in a Frontend Team Leadership position role. Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Frontend developer in the iGaming industry, using JavaScript, Typescript, modern frameworks (React). A proven track record of delivering Node.Js applications. Deep understanding of the iGaming space, including technology stacks, game APIs. Highly understanding and technical background to support the decisions within the team. Effective time management. Demonstrate common sense and exercise judgment when faced with emergencies. Excellent mediator in conflict resolution. Strong understanding of business goals. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior roles, and management from other departments and units within IT. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
