Projects España S.L.U. - a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa r.E. AG - is responsible for the development, structuring and execution of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects in Spain & Portugal. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Spain and are currently looking for a Junior Environmental Technician (M/F/d) - Madrid.What You Will Do Analysis of environmental restrictions, territorial and urban factors for the evaluation of the environmental viability of projects, from their approach phase with GIS tools applied to renewable energy projects.Support the creation of GIS layers repository.Analysis of applicable Environmental legislation related to renewable projects (state and regional).Analysis of environmental conditions during the permitting obtention process.Other responsibilities as assigned.What You Bring Recently graduated from a Bachelor ´s Degree in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering.Required to be enrolled in a Master ´s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to establish a training contract.Advanced knowledge of Office, QGIS, ArcGIS and Environmental regional databases.Management of geodatabases, geoprocessing, cartography production and OGC services.Knowledge in environmental assessment of renewable projects (mainly photovoltaic or wind) will be valued.Proficient communication in Spanish and fluent professional English skills.Great interest in renewable energy sector.Committed and proactive person with the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fluid and goal-oriented environment.Cooperative and a supportive team player.What We Are Ready To Offer You Training contract for a period of 6 months.Exciting challenges as part of a team of professionals.International and cooperative working environment.Excellent future prospects for you and opportunities for personal and professional development.Flexible and friendly workplace.Flat hierarchies with short, fast decision-making channels.Security and competitive compensation package that you would expect of a company this size.Diversity and Equal Opportunity At BayWa r.E. we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
