Postdoctoral Opportunity at ICIQ: The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher (Postdoc 2024-06 MH) in collaboration with Prof. Mónica H. Pérez-Temprano's group. This exciting opportunity focuses on innovative reaction design and development, aiming to expand the boundaries of transition metal catalysis and organic synthesis. The successful candidate will contribute to unlocking novel reactivities and mechanistic possibilities within first-row transition metal catalyzed transformations.Study Area: Organic Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, Transition Metal Catalysis, C–H Functionalization Reactions, Mechanistic Investigations.Location: ICIQ, Spain.PhD in Organic or Organometallic Chemistry or a related field.Expertise in transition metal catalysis, C–H functionalization reactions, and/or mechanistic investigations.Proficiency in air-sensitive techniques and general analytical tools.Excellent written and spoken English skills.Strong communication and management abilities.Description: The selected Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for developing new reactivity based on first-row transition metals, synthesizing and characterizing organometallic complexes and organic molecules, conducting mechanistic studies using various analytic techniques, and mentoring PhD students within the group.
