We're looking for an email marketing expert to bring their strategic thinking, data savvy, technical expertise and impeccable execution to maximize the effectiveness of Make's email programs. We're growing fast - and that means bigger ambitions, more complex needs. In this newly-created role, you'll drive your own portfolio of email marketing activities, support other teams using the channel in their projects, and grow Make's technical capabilities in email marketing..
With an initial focus on driving impactful engagement with existing customers, this role will also need to partner closely with other teams across Make to ensure we take a holistic approach to managing all email activities across the company. Our ideal candidate is a pragmatic leader who can balance operational delivery while making meaningful progress towards a longer-term vision.
As a Senior Manager in Make's Marketing team, you'll be supported by a strong network of peers who are on a mission to continue the company's exponential growth. You'll thrive in a start-up environment, ruthlessly focusing on the initiatives that will make the biggest impact, while keeping an eye on ensuring we're ready for the future.
ResponsibilitiesManage our overall portfolio of email activity, partnering with teams across Make to ensure its maximum effectiveness in responding to user needs and driving business resultsDevelop, implement and manage processes to ensure the timely delivery of impactful communications and campaigns to Make customersAct as subject matter expert and owner for our tooling, advocating for and implementing technology solutions that are appropriate to our scale and ambitionsPartner with teams across Make to source and share data that drives the effectiveness of our customer acquisition and retention activitiesManage customer segmentation and targeting to ensure that campaigns are personalized and relevant to every recipientEnsure appropriate reporting is available for email, while guiding the business on how best to evaluate performanceUse data to identify and drive opportunities for improvement in customer communication and engagementDevelop email best practices and enable internal stakeholders to follow themProvide training and support to team members on email system usage and best practicesEnsure email practices comply with internal policies and data protection regulationsRequirements5+ years of experience in email marketing with demonstrated knowledge of email best practices including technical (deliverability, data, personalization), content (subject lines, messaging, design) and performance (send times, campaign cadences) etcStrong experimental and analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing effortsProven track record in managing and growing a motivated teamProficiency in English with the ability to create compelling messaging and contentFamiliarity with email design and coding concepts such as HTML, CSS, Canva, FigmaPassion for customer-centric marketing and delivering exceptional customer experiencesTrack record leading people, either in project teams and/or as a line managerExperience working within a digital workflow, partnering with content writers, designers and technical teams to deliver effective campaignsProficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent marketing initiatives to key stakeholdersWhat we offer RSUs grant in a rapidly growing company raising its value every day Annual bonus Multinational team with 42 nationalities creating the future of automation Learning & Development plan (online language, professional courses, conference tickets and other trainings) & 2 Company Learning Days per year 3 Company Impact Days per year Notebook/Macbook and 34'' curved monitor 25 days of vacation, company day off on 31st December 10 care days to care for your loved ones ? ? ?
