Overview Want to join our team in Spain as a Junior AR Backoffice Specialist? We have a temporary vacancy to join the Shared Service Center located in Madrid.

Responsibilities Your key reponsibilities Perform timely daily area activities (Billing, Unallocated cash, credit hold on customers / orders process activities, AR Subledger review and cleanings, etc) by working closely with the customer and other JBT Internal teams.
Guaranteeing transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework. Perform timely all AR Accounting Month End Close activities, SOX Controls, AR Reconciliations, Month end Close Reporting Packages and working closely with G / L to provide all needed AR info for the submission of JBT financial information.
Build and deliver the required reporting package to the different Business Units and Management in Europe and US. Follow an everyday approach of Continuous Improvement in the everyday work.
Management of Intercompany AR Area : IC Collections, IC Billing recharges calculations and all other related IC Month end activities.
Guide the team assigned to achieve the goals established for the AR Team. Support the AR Manager with experience and ideas to increase the efficiency of the JBT AR Processes.
Your skills and experience Core competencies Drive for Results Excellent customer service skills Shared Service center experience valuable Ability to meet strict deadlines Good analytical and interpersonal skills Teamwork Skills Understanding of AR processes and best practices SOX / Internal Controls knowledge desirable Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong Excel knowledge is a must Billing knowledge and experience desirable Attention to detail Education and experience Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent work experience required 1+ years of experience in a Finance environment working with Excel Experience with Microsoft Office Experience in ERP system Languages Fluent verbal / written Spanish and English Other European language would be a plus Qualifications Work in an international and fast-paced environment Competitive salary & time off package Hybrid work format (Remote work 3 days per week) Meal Vouchers Health & Life insurance JBT embraces diversity and equal opportunity.
