.Software Engineer, Hybrid Sevilla or Fully Remote in SpainCCC is currently looking for a Software Engineer. You will work with a team of back-end developers and QA engineers for our products and applications portfolio. The software engineer will be allocated to one or more of these projects.The individual must possess oral and written English communication skills and have a track record of working with a cross-functional engineering team as we are worldwide with team members in many countries. Experience with AWS is a plus. Experience working with REST services and creating REST services is a plus. Experience working with the Vaadin framework is a plus.What you will be doing:Create, integrate, and implement new systems, enhancements and software solutions using business analysis and technical skills, including the full spectrum of system life cycle development.Participate as a team member in analysis, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of software engineering projects, setting, and meeting realistic timelines and deadlines.Ensure that design and code reviews occur in a timely manner and are documented.Contribute to the development of new application standards and infrastructure.What skills/experience you need to have:Minimum of 3 years of experience building web-based and server-based applications using Java, Spring, relational database (PostgreSQL), and AWS experience.Experience with search frameworks, preferably OpenSearch, experience with RESTful services, GitHub, and Jira.Minimum of 2 years' experience with project management and/or system life cycle development methodology, particularly Agile/SAFe.Proactive in identifying and assimilating emerging technologies and applications.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, subject to peer review.Ability to set and meet deadlines.Excellent analytical and interpretative skills.Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.About CCC:A pioneer in voluntary collective licensing, CCC is a leading information solutions provider to organizations around the world.
