We are actively interviewing for a Sr. Demand Planner for one of our clients located in GTA. If you have 3-5 years of experience in a CPG environment within Demand Planning, Logistics, Production Planning, Supply Chain processes or Inventory Management with prior experience in forecasting and demand planning this could be the role for you. Read on....What our client offers:Base salary + bonus100% paid benefits covered by the employer (medical, dental and vision)RRSP Matching programPaid vacation + 5 personal daysWhat are some of the responsibilities of the Sr. Demand Planner:Develop Consensus Forecasts for new, existing & exiting productsDevelop and maintain 24 months rolling forecast utilizing forecasting system and, driving IBP planning processPerform appropriate Statistical Analysis using shipment, consumption, and other sources of dataWork closely with Marketing and Sales to devise, prepare, and establish New Product ForecastsAssist in preparing appropriate cannibalization assumptionsProvide system support around forecasting setup, maintenance, and general product hierarchy and make recommendations for improvementsProjects and other duties assigned by leadershipThe required qualifications of Demand Planner:3-5 years of experience in CPG environment within Demand Planning, Logistics, Production Planning, Supply Chain processes or Inventory Management.Prior experience in forecasting and demand planning in fast-moving consumer packaged goods environment an asset.Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management Science, Mathematics or Statistics is an assetStrong analytical skillsStrong understanding of the CPG industry, innovation, route to market logistics, sales and brand marketing planning and developing building blocksHighly effective written and verbal communications skills, comfortable presenting to Senior LeadershipAdvanced skills in MS OfficeDon't miss out on this great opportunity.
