Technical Business AnalystOur opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our international Business Technology Solutions organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for Actuarial application development related activities in coordination with the team to ensure compliance with ITGC, SOX and continuous delivery.
You will proactively expand your expertise in both existing and new functionalities, along with best practices in the relevant space, applying these learnings in your daily job.
Your role As a Technical Business Analyst your main responsibilities will involve: Develop the necessary confidence and technical knowledge to be able to investigate and resolve technical queries, and address the solution design needs from your fellow colleagues and stakeholders.Perform analysis across both systems and business processes to establish a good and aligned understanding of the root cause of any open issues / underlying requirements.Develop use case, and option-impact assessment to determine and recommend the best solution to adopt across our core insurance, workflow, data and automation platforms.Elicit and document clear business requirements, ensuring the needs of both internal and external parties are reconciled.Contribute to the design of systems, preparing use cases, functional / interface specifications, and other design artefacts.Work alongside third-party providers to ensure the scoped solution fully meets the business need and achieves the envisaged benefits.Perform peer reviews for project artefacts to ensure specified standards are attained.Provide support for testing, implementation, and training activities to ensure the seamless delivery of change.Share experience and develop best practices along with your peers locally and regionally to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the department and grow your own skillset.Opportunity to take part in the business unit's sustainability and employee wellbeing initiatives to help make a difference to our planet and our people.Your Skills and Experience As a Technical Business Analyst, your skills and qualifications will ideally include: University level education or equivalent.Advanced level of English.2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in the delivery of Business Analysis artefacts (e.g. as-is analysis, use case, process design, functional specification, UAT, etc.) on business and IT change projects, preferably in the Financial Services sector (e.g. Insurance).Intermediate working knowledge of SQL is a must, as well as the use of data analytics.Understanding of Azure.Curious and open-minded to develop technical and soft skills to become an all-rounded Business Analyst and Project Manager.Self-starter and pay attention to details.Experience working in Actuaries and understanding of ITIL principles will be valued.What we offer?
