.We are looking for an EDM Data Engineer based in Málaga or ready to relocate to Spain. EPAM will provide relocation support to you and your family upon successful interviewing.We always hire for a career in EPAM, but the initial client for this hire is a leading UK-based hedge fund with aggressive growth aspirations and a challenging delivery agenda. A successful candidate is expected to work from our Málaga office 4 days/week and visit the client in their London office as required.ResponsibilitiesAct as a senior software database developer and data architect for company's projectsPerform design, implementation, and unit testing of assigned functionalityOwn assigned work, elaborate implementation details, keeps close coordination with BAs and QAs to deliver result of a high qualityParticipate in a wide range of non-project activities within Databases Competency Center, including knowledge sharing and elaborating best practices according to modern industry trendsCreate and follow personal education planRequirements3+ years of experience in database development, design and modellingReadiness to work from office 4 days/weekStrong knowledge of SQL language and modern relational database management systems technologiesExperience with and knowledge of technology stack in useMS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRSMarkit EDMSQL, T-SQLScripting languagesStrong TDD experience, understanding of the best CI/CD practices, experience with code quality and code review tools, sense of responsibility for the code qualityStrong UML modelling and design skillsStrong computer science backgroundAbility to implement functionality without supervision and test own work thoroughly using test casesAbility to create deliverables in good qualityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEnglish level B2 or higher, ability to read, write, speak and write high-quality unambiguous texts in EnglishAbility to read and understand project and requirement documentation, ability to create design technical and project documentation, including documentation describing own codeAbility to participate in phone conferences, interviews and face-to-face meetings with customers without supervisionAbility to mentor colleagues in software engineering disciplinesNice to haveKnowledge of non-relational database management systemsWe offerPrivate health insuranceEPAM Employees Stock Purchase Plan100% paid sick leaveReferral ProgramProfessional certificationLanguage coursesEPAM is a leading digital transformation services and product engineering company with over 52,800 EPAMers in more than 55 countries and regions.
