At Ad4Octógono we are looking for a Windows Administrator with 3 years of experience for a project where the team provides 24x7x365 support for all the of their infraestructure ( regular hours from 9am to 6pm, plus guards) Job Responsibilities Windows Administration & Support: Ensure the availability of infrastructure to meet SLAs for systems and applications.
Contribute to managing risks by addressing obsolescence, vulnerabilities, and patching.
Troubleshoot low-level issues and implement solutions effectively.
Deliver projects and changes within agreed deadlines.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
Communicate complex changes and ensure their impacts are understood.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze changes and assess their impact on system availability.
Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, or other automation tools.
Requirements: Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3 years in Windows Server administration and support.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
Work mode : hybrid (1 day in Madrid office) Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and application support.
Experience in security hardening, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in regulated environments.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) Knowledge of IIS, BizTalk, .Net Framework, PowerShell, IBM MQ, Host Integration Service (HIS), and SQL Server.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Santander change/incident processes.
Expertise in automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible.
Ability to understand and assess complex changes.
Key Competencies and Qualities Energetic, motivated, and pragmatic.
Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Adaptable to a wide range of technical responsibilities.
Effective time management and productivity.
