Role An exciting opportunity to work as a web full stack engineer in an aerospace technology company that intend to develop a proprietary Ground Station solution. You will design and develop from end to end a solution to remotely control our UAV products. This is an interesting position with multiple opportunities to help define the best approach the achieve the most efficient solution for the front-end to be executed from many cross platforms.
TasksDevelop and implement a ground control station for UAV's (flight plan, remote flights, parameters tuning and log post-analysis).To achieve that the web full stack engineer shall be able toEnsure Development of front-end: With the help of HTML, CSS or JavaScript frameworks and libraries, must be able to build interactive user
interfaces for cross-platform apps.Design the backend of the application: must be able to build a robust backend
architecture to fetch data from the servers.Ensure Cross Platform compatibility: Applications must run smoothly on all
operating systems like Windows, MacOS, and Linux.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, to integrate Ground Station solutions into existing products i.e to integrate communication protocol defined between the Ground Station and the Flight Control Computer (MAVlink could be an option).Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of Ground Station application.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical fieldExcellent knowledge of front-end web programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ability to render server-side and client-side contentExcellent knowledge of JavaExperience working with multiple platforms such as Desktop, Mobile, TabletFamiliarity with common programming design patterns and best practicesExperience with common web development tools and services, such as version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines(Nice to have) Android/iOS developer SDK Experience(Nice to have) Experience in OpenGL(Nice to have) Experience in MapboxExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for algorithm development and data analysis.Good communication skills, enabling effective collaborationLanguages: EnglishBenefitsLineal organization and flexible working hoursFree lunch and Breakfast with the team once a weekCompetitive salaryDestinus is an equal opportunity employer: we value diversity in our companies and our teams.
