The role will allow you to develop and implement wide ranging solutions for the entire business.* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent work experience.* Min. 3 years data engineering experience* Must have experience with Spark - ideally using Databricks* A strong understanding of cluster configurations, spark UI and general spark performance optimization is highly desirable for this role* Extensive experience using Databricks in multi-cloud environments, particularly across Azure and AWS is highly desirable* Solid understanding of modern data architectures (i.e., data warehouse, data lake, data lake-house etc.)* Experience with Data Warehouse modelling/Relational modelling.* Experience with every step of the data engineering lifecycle (i.e. ingestion, storage, transformation, serving) with a modern data stack* Experience with serving data for front end BI applications, data scientists and software engineers* ETL programming skills, including experience with large code bases, complex data structures, and a variety of BI development tools* Experience with cloud solutions particularly Azure.
