The successful candidate will join our experienced and dynamic department, who deliver an outstanding learning experience which goes well beyond the classroom. Our aim is to enable every child to achieve more than they dreamed possible, in a happy and inclusive environment where everyone is supported and encouraged to excel. The Mastering English Pathway department consists of a team of highly experienced teachers delivering Second Language English as a core subject in Key Stage 4 and the Cambridge English exam curriculum in Key Stage 3. We have a strong, developed curriculum merging together the UK national curriculum along with the Cambridge English assessment programme, which supports the learning of our EAL students in school. Prospective candidates will have the unique opportunity to assist the growth of the department by delivering a personalised curriculum for our students who are learning English as a foreign language. We are looking for an innovative and creative teacher capable of teaching English as Additional Language effectively, and to take an active role in maintaining the high standards and aspirations of our pupils. The ideal candidate will have taught EAL and the UK National Curriculum before. We are seeking someone with excellent subject knowledge and the successful candidate must be student-focused, possess a relevant subject degree and relevant EAL teaching experience in a similar environment. Our School Laude San Pedro International College is an extremely successful, well-established and growing, co-educational day school with over 1,000 students aged 3 to 18. Laude San Pedro is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP Schools) with over 80 schools across the globe.
