UNICC is seeking a Windows and Systems AdministratorPrimary purpose is to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain systems and services24/7 support requirement, on-call rotation, and flexible schedule
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Participating in planning and development of new features• Proactively managing environments and forecasting capacity needs• Assisting with deployment of new applications and services• Optimizing services and troubleshooting system errors• Defining and implementing security best practices• Building and managing Windows failover clusters• Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures• Performing other duties as required
Requirements
• Minimum 6 years' experience with Windows Server administration in large environments• Strong technical understanding of information systems• Ability to address issues, investigate problems, and interact with vendors• Experience with Microsoft Server administration and PowerShell scripting• Knowledge of configuration management, monitoring tools, and Directory Services• Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Request Fulfillment support• Deep problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Ability to work independently and within a team• Critical thinking and effective communication skills• Willingness to learn new technologies
