IT Specialist – Hybrid – Barcelona We are hiring at Telematel for an IT Specialist to join our growing team We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our team at Telematel. We are a leading company in the programming of solutions for businesses dedicated to the distribution of electrical materials is seeking to hire a highly skilled and innovation-driven Information Technology specialist. About Telematel Telematel, a leading company in the development and marketing of business management software in the construction sector, with excellent customer service capacity and supported by a large team of professionals dedicated to the project and the endorsement of more than 2,000 customers and more than 17,500 licences for the use of our applications, needs to recruit new collaborators for the position of Customer Service Agent for its offices in Sant Cugat (Barcelona). Telematel was acquired by Valsoft and is now integrated into the portfolio of Aspire Software, the operating arm of Valsoft, which manages Valsoft's global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission critical solutions across multiple verticals. Here is a little window into our company: Telematel was acquired by Valsoft and now operates within the Aspire Software portfolio, the operational arm of Valsoft, operates and manages Valsoft's global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. The successful candidate will work at a reasonable distance from our office in Sant Cugat (Barcelona). This position will be a hybrid position, working from the office and from home What your day will look like : Manage and maintain our clients' infrastructure Implement and maintain security systems to protect our clients' data and information Provide technical support to all our clients Supervise and manage the daily operations of the IT department Evaluate and recommend technological solutions that improve the company's efficiency and productivity Conduct research and analysis to solve complex technical problems Collaborate with other teams to implement projects and ensure effective system integration Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of information technology About You : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for formal education) Demonstrable experience in the administration of IT infrastructures, including servers, networks, and operating systems Profound knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Experience in implementing and managing IT security systems, such as firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and across multiple departments Relevant certifications in the field of information technology (desirable) Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal is essential Fluency in English is a plus Must be legally authorised to work in Spain We offer : Opportunities for growth and professional development in a stimulating work environment Collaboration with highly skilled and experienced professionals Participation in innovative and cutting-edge projects Flexible and balanced work environment If you are ready to take on new challenges and be part of a leading company, we look forward to receiving your application Please send your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and professional achievements.
