Responsibilities:
Performs full audits, including risk management, control management, and assessing financial reliability to ensure that compliance is met within all the company's systems.
Acts as an objective source of guidance and advice for teams within the company to ensure that developments and processes are legal and work towards achieving company-wide goals.
Analyzes and evaluates accounting documents, preparing reports that reflect the audit results and documenting the proposed process to ensure all staff members are working toward the same goals and complying with regulations.
Researches the latest trends and issues in the industry, determining the scope of the internal audit accordingly. Develops annual plans discussed with managers and staff to agree on systems that will help the business grow.
Monitors interventions from management, conducts follow-up audits to ensure that regulations and sector rules are being met and best practices are followed.
Checks the veracity of all disclosures in the financial statements.
Checks compliance of all members, employees, officers, and Board of Directors to the policies of the Cooperative.
Checks compliance of the Cooperative with all government laws, rules, and regulations.
Prepares audit schedules and makes audit plans to maintain effective internal controls.
Regularly prepares and submits audit reports containing findings, observations, comments, and recommendations for the improvement of the Cooperative.
Conducts audits in every branch with the assistance of the Auditors to regulate the imposition of internal controls for reliable financial reporting and prevention of fraud and misappropriation of funds.
Establishes accuracy, authenticity, and reliability of financial documents, records, and reports.
Checks audit recommendations by external auditors and ensures that corrective measures have been undertaken as recommended.
Evaluates compliance with ethical requirements to ensure there are no issues between Management and the Board of Directors.
Attends seminars and meetings necessary to update knowledge and keep abreast of new regulations in the industry.
Attends regular Board Meetings and Annual General Assembly.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: From Php22,000.00 per month
