The candidate should have a proven track record in one or more of the following:PIC simulationPIC fabricationPIC characterizationPIC packagingA good level of research independence and project management is expected.
Experience in integrated quantum photonics adds value to the application.Job Description:The successful candidates will work on projects related to classical and quantum photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
Responsibilities include:Design, simulation, fabrication, characterization, and packaging of PICs.Developing next-generation PIC-based technologies, ranging from classical photonic processing to quantum communication, sensing, and metrology.Working on on-chip quantum key distribution transmitters, entangled pair sources, and single photon sources.Contributing to several European projects the group is involved in.How to Apply:Suitable candidates are requested to submit the following:Presentation letter with a declaration of interestContact e-mail of two potential refereesApplications should be submitted ******.
