ABOUT THIS PROJECT This project is part of our journey to increase the diversity in our teams across the world.
It's a 2-year project where you'll start your career in the Granollers plant for the first year and then relocate to one of the following plants in Chartres (France), Ashford (UK), or Senador (Brazil) for another year.
The principle is that you will move to a country that is different from your country of origin.
The goal is to continue the career journey once finished the project, either in the country of the assignment at hand or in any other country within Coty.
THE ROLE Your main tasks will be: Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses.
Create and apply setting standards that ensure the correct interaction between machine and material, contribute to the availability of all required information so that all operators and technicians are fully trained and qualified.
Interact with cross-functional partners and Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure effective implementation of new products.
Own change management and validation processes for a designated process.
Update process control strategies and operating procedures as changes occur.
Drive cost savings through improved productivity, material utilization improvements, and by optimizing labor.
Develop innovative process equipment solutions to deliver superior consumer-driven product designs.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING B.S.
Degree in an Engineering Discipline.
0 to 2 years of working experience.
Any experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to root cause problem solving, Lean Manufacturing practices, and/or continuous improvement is a plus.
Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and mathematical/engineering methods to solve problems in a manufacturing environment (know the tools such as poka yoke/mistake proofing/pFMEA, SMED, 5S, etc., familiar with Key Performance Indicator reporting, Loss Tree, 5-whys, etc.).
Advanced Office package skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Fluency in English and ideally in French, Spanish, or Portuguese.
Able to communicate efficiently, good team worker but also able to work autonomously.
