We are looking for a battery specialist for xHEV vehicles.
The role includes ensuring the safety of lithium-ion batteries, validating the product and process, and analyzing data from suppliers and tests.
The candidate should master functional analysis, FMEA, HARA, and ISO26262, and manage risks in all phases of development and production.
What you will do Lead studies to ensure the safety of batteries in xHEV hybrid vehicles, defining what tests to conduct and how to conduct them.Oversee the tests, analyze the results, and find solutions to any problems that arise.Stay updated with regulations and participate in groups working on international battery safety standards.Help create technical policies and standards, and write rules about battery safety.Control processes and tools for managing risks, and write reports on progress at each project stage.Improve technical specifications and standards, perform validations, and lead technical discussions with suppliers.System C11 system requirements, validations, data analysis and AI basic knowledge, and Excel proficiency.Experience in hardware or electronics components design and its validation.What we are looking for Minimum Experience: 4 years in developing or designing mechanical parts, managing, and validating them.Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering, or similar.
MSc or Ph.D. in related technologies (Electrochemistry of Li-ion, CFD, mechanics, battery or material technologies, thermal simulations, etc.)
is a plus.Highly Valued: Experience with batteries/electric energy storage systems, mastery of ISO26262, HARA, Functional Safety Concept development, and knowledge of failure modes.Languages: Must be proficient in English.
