With a presence in more than 110 countries , serving over 1,700 customers, a turnover exceeding 1.200M€, and employing more than 5,000 people across 18 countries, Viscofan Group not only leads the casing market but also drives biotechnology innovations that bring significant advances in the medical field .We are seeking a Corporate Project Implementation Manager – Converting to join our international, innovative, and fast-paced environment , where you will be surrounded by a multidisciplinary, highly skilled team.The position will be based in Cáseda and will involve travel to various Converting centers across the group.
About the role:The main responsibilities will involve:Participate in defining departmental projects aimed at continuous improvement in Converting processes, manufacturing technologies, and final products to differentiate us in the market.Identify areas of improvement and develop and implement agreed-upon solutions.Implement and monitor projects at both strategic and departmental levels in different Converting centers.Provide technical assistance to the Group subsidiaries.Track operational performance at Converting centers through KPIs.Standardize and document processes, machinery, and products in alignment with guidelines and requirements.Design and implement new manufacturing technologies in Converting centers.Participate in cross-functional teams using LEAN principles.
You're going to be a match if you...:Hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.Are familiar with and have applied LEAN methodology.Possess knowledge in:Industrial mechanics and pneumaticsIndustrial electricity and power electronicsIndustrial sensingAutoCAD and other 3D design softwareAre proficient in Microsoft Office and office tools.Have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in multicultural environments.Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Possess analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture while focusing on key details.Are willing to travel to various Converting centers.Have a high level of Spanish and English; other languages are a plus.
