The Role:
As a Bookability Architect, you'll design systems that seamlessly integrate third-party booking tools with Groupon's platform. Your work will empower merchants, simplify the sales process, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:Lead the architecture and implementation of systems in the bookability domain.Collaborate with product managers to refine project requirements and drive solutions.Enhance platform performance and stability across teams.Mentor and guide junior engineers.Uphold and improve tech culture principles.Languages/Frameworks:Java, Ruby on Rails, Node/Express JS, React.js
Minimum Requirements:12+ years of experience in software development with a focus on merchant and consumer-facing products.Strong coding skills (Java, Python, Ruby).Familiarity with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.Experience with microservices and service-oriented architecture.Excellent problem-solver and team player.Bonus Points For:Experience integrating third-party booking tools.Willingness to travel internationally.Why Groupon?We offer the best of both worlds: the resources of a large company with the agility of a small one, where your impact truly matters.
