.Clickedu is a Sanoma company that offers school administration systems and digital learning environments for K12, secondary schools, and vocational training schools. The software of Clickedu contains a school platform in the cloud that includes academic, administrative and economic management tools, a virtual learning environment with a connection to digital books and free content, management of teachers, tutors and heads of studies, the quality of the centre and a communication environment with families. Clickedu serves nearly 700 centres with 1,500,000 users around Spain and Andorra.Our mission is to provide the educational management support that the centre needs. We put the student at the centre, so we help teachers, administrators, secretariats, and management make their daily lives more fruitful. We are shaping the future of education, leveraging our strength in the technology sector and our pedagogical experience.Work setupThis position is hybrid, with the option to work three days from home and two days in the office.Role responsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework. If you are a self-starter, a team player with a passion for creating high-quality, scalable web solutions, this role is perfect for youMust-have requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong focus on the Symfony framework: 5+ years of hands-on experience.Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, SOLID and Clean Code.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git .Strong knowledge of database management systems, particularly MySQL .Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.Solid understanding of software testing and debugging.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.English proficiency: B2/C1 (both written and spoken communication).Spanish proficiency: B2/C1 (both written and spoken communication).Nice-to-have requirementsExperience with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Zend .Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.Js .Familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS ) and DevOps practices .Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies .Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Understanding of distributed architectures, hexagonal and DDD (Domain-Driven Design).Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the developer community.About Sanoma LearningSanoma Learning is a leading K12 European learning company, operating in 12 countries
