We are looking for a software engineer with previous experience to join our Kronis team. At Sploro, we value innovation, teamwork and technical excellence. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a challenging project and contribute to the growth and success of our platform.
Kronis is the first SaaS in Europe oriented to facilitate the administrative and management tasks of European grants for R&D&I projects.
TasksCollaborate in a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain software applications that align with Sploro's business objectives and technical requirementsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software deliverablesWork closely with the CTO to standardize the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, introducing industry best practices, methodologies, and tools to improve delivery and optimize the development processEstablish and promote coding standards, guidelines, and best practices within the development team to ensure consistency, maintainability, and scalability of the codebaseMentor and guide less experienced developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and adherence to established coding practicesRequirementsMinimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on software engineeringInterest in Sploro's business modelMinimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, with proficiency in Python preferredAt least 3 years of experience in product development, either at a product startup or in outsourcing with a proven track record of remaining on the same project for the duration of that timeWillingness and ability to work with legacy codebases, as well as to write maintainable test code and production codeMedium-High level of EnglishHands-on knowledge in the following topics is highly desirable:
