Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We're also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we're as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, the United States and more

To grow our team, we're looking for a Manager, Community Relations and Engagement (Nonprofits)

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in Benevity's strategy for engaging with nonprofits to create impact. With your team, you'll build a community of nonprofits that are Raving Fans of Benevity (RFOBs) through giving, volunteering, grants, impact reporting and being part of the Benevity ecosystem and corporate partnerships. You'll own and deliver service offerings that enable clients and nonprofits to create impact.

What you'll do:

Develop and implement a strategic engagement roadmap to cultivate strong relationships with nonprofits, including regular touchpoints, roundtables and innovative ways to add value

Support the education of new nonprofits

Analyze regional and territory business trends and outcomes to identify and scale growth opportunities

Design and pilot new levers that support nonprofit engagement growth at scale

Develop and maintain a community to increase reach and feedback loops for program, product support and community support

Actively brainstorm and propose creative solutions to enhance Benevity's offerings in employee volunteering, corporate giving, and impact reporting

Champion continuous improvement within the Nonprofits team, optimizing processes and systems to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and transparency

Manage, coach, mentor, and grow a team of dedicated nonprofit-facing professionals

Execution of workshops, events, webinars, partnerships and other channels to build an integrated strategy

Lead the creation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual volunteering engagement reports, building data-driven models to support strategic decision-making

Design and oversee the creation of compelling volunteering program packages that cater to individual and group needs

Partner with cross-functional teams (Client Success, Product & Engineering) to develop and launch innovative volunteering solutions

What you'll bring:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a nonprofit engagement, volunteer management, client-facing or related role. Nonprofit and management experience is a plus

At least 3 years of experience leading and managing teams to drive results, engagement, and growth

Passion for social good and a deep understanding of the nonprofit landscape

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth and engagement

Experience building community for scale through programmatic initiatives that drive business value

Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity

Curious, naturally analytical, motivated to learn, question the status-quo, move fast… and break things

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making

Strong empathy for our community AND passion for revenue and growth

Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models

Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others

Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity

Expert with Excel (pivot tables, large data set analyses, and formulas), analytical tools (SQL), and methodologies like capacity planning, forecasting, general modeling for prioritization and decision making

Comfortable with Google Suite, Salesforce/Hubspot CRM, and other technology solutions for driving supply acquisition, territory management and retention

Deep knowledge and experience using collaborative project management tools and processes (e.g. Asana, Airtable, etc.)
