Job Description Summary:
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for providing data and technical expertise on data projects for HMG organization.
This person will work with the Global Product Director and Global Data Specialists in the implementation of Data platforms across the world. Together, they will support the product team to align business requirements with functional and technical specifications. By providing data expertise and working closely with the product manager, R&D people, and other HMG technical teams, the Senior Data Analyst will contribute to the continuous improvement of working practices, application quality, tooling, and agile processes.
Main Responsibilities
Technical & Data expertise: Provides the product team with technical expertise applied to data and solutions.
Provides the product team with data expertise to perform segment mapping of data (Global Taxonomy).
Provides the product team with data expertise to create powerful visualizations.
Works actively with data experts to smooth processes and provide top quality tools.
Provides functional and technical specifications for project tasks.
Automates daily tasks with technical scripting languages.
Proposes and develops statistical analysis to provide the product team with insightful metrics to support Strategy and Client teams.
Product development: Actively works with the product team and contributes to the definition and integration of various data sources.
Actively works with the product and R&D team to support the improvement of ID and Non-ID databases.
Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
Takes an active role in the new product development and innovation process.
Develops client use cases with machine learning algorithms in Python.
Maintains, improves, and develops SQL, R, or Python scripts to generate standard results.
Previous Experience
3-5 years professional experience.
English level - Excellent.
Key Competencies
Knowledge in high-level data visualization platforms.
Knowledge in high-level technical languages (Python, R, SQL).
Knowledge in Data Science Algorithms.
Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Proactive and ability to initiate.
Good analytical problem-solving skills.
