Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Global Technology, Resort Operations, Sales & Marketing etc.) area to support department and/or function objectives. Generally, works with considerable independence, developing operating plans and related operational processes for own department in alignment with broader business objectives. The Director, Development Management, Architecture & Construction (A&C) will be a full-time in-region A&C Lead, managing and leading project(s) through all typical stages (e.G., planning, pre-construction, delivery, turnover, and occupancy), responsible for brand compliance, quality, budget and on time delivery. Project types can include new resort development, ancillary/resort capex, villa refurbishments, reserve replacement, sales center delivery and renovations, and include both developer-owned and COA-owned Capital Assets (Real Estate Fixed Assets) of resort properties. The Director acts as single-point accountability for delivering a portfolio of projects on schedule, within budget, in compliance with brand standards and for developing and managing an overall program and project execution plans with a focus on problem avoidance, the delivery of cost-effective predictable results, managing multiple projects concurrently, and the marshalling of appropriate resources required to enable the achievement of MVW's business goals and objectives. This position will lead / support projects in assigned region(s), and will be based in the Costa Del Sol, with travel as necessary to meet assigned goals. Expected Contributions Preconstruction and Project Delivery Develops contracting strategies (design and construction) for each project that properly balances schedule, cost, and risk avoidance. Managers all contracting efforts. Responsible for delivery of all Projects under various project deal/transaction structures and agreements e.G., Turnkey, Self-Developed, Joint-Venture, etc. Acts as single point accountability for delivering a portfolio of project(s) on schedule, within budget, in compliance with brand standards and for developing and managing the overall master program and individual project execution plans with a focus on problem avoidance, the delivery of cost-effective predictable results, managing multiple projects concurrently, and marshalling of appropriate resources required to enable the achievement of MVW's business goals and objectives. Facilitates timely communication of project status, potential problems, recommended corrective actions, and opportunities to strengthen compatible business relationships
