As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services and help shape the future of relational databasesKey Job Responsibilities Design and develop innovative software solutions to further enhance the performance, availability, and durability of Amazon Aurora.Collaborate with a team of engineers to push the boundaries of the PostgreSQL engine and storage integration.Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities within Aurora.Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to Aurora's functionality.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in database technologies and PostgreSQL developments.A Day in the Life As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you'll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects. You'll also:Build high-impact solutions to deliver to our large customer base.Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Work cross-functionally to help drive business decisions with your technical input.Work in a startup-like development environment, where you're always working on the most important stuff.About the Team Amazon Aurora is a MySQL and PostgreSQL compatible, relational database service that combines the speed and availability of high-end commercial databases with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open source databases.
